What it is

A group of 10 men, meeting weekly for 10 weeks. Each session has a theme, with questions and ideas to explore as a group. There's also room to bring topics you're dealing with day-to-day.It’s not therapy and it’s not networking. It’s a room of capable men sharing honest conversation, practical perspective, and occasional accountability, sometimes with a bit of banter.

Why a group like this

Many men don’t regularly have opportunities to speak plainly about what they want, what they’re afraid of, what they’re unsure about, or what they’re avoiding. This becomes harder once you’re carrying responsibility, as a manager, founder, partner, or father.A good group gives you something different: other people’s eyes on your life. No professional agenda. No need to perform. Just perspective and companionship.Sometimes the real value is simple: one comment, one moment, one thing someone says that shifts how you see something. Some parts of life are just easier to navigate in a group.

What a typical evening looks like

Each session lasts two hours and follows a simple structure.5:00 Arrival and check-in
People arrive, grab a tea, and briefly share how their week has been.
5:20 Topic discussion
We explore the theme for the week (work, money, relationships, purpose and so on) using a few prompts to get the conversation going.
6:00 Real situations
Two or three people bring something they’re dealing with (a work situation, decision, or personal challenge) and the group helps them think it through.
6:50 Final reflections
Final reflections and optional commitments for the week ahead.

Self-help culture often says the opposite: optimise everything.
This group sits somewhere in the middle. Some parts of life require acceptance. Others require action. The aim is to help each person figure out what that balance looks like in their own life.
